Arrival in Arusha
Arrival: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for a welcome dinner and briefing about the trek.
Arusha to Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
Morning:
Drive to Momella Gate for registration. Begin your trek through lush forests, where you may spot wildlife.
Afternoon:
Hike to Miriakamba Hut (2,500m) for lunch. Enjoy stunning views of the mountain and surrounding landscape.
Evening:
Arrive at the hut, relax, and enjoy dinner while soaking in the beauty of the area.
Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
Morning:
After breakfast, trek to Saddle Hut (3,570m), passing through alpine meadows and rocky terrain.
Afternoon:
Arrive at Saddle Hut for lunch. Take time to acclimatize and explore the area, enjoying views of the crater and Kilimanjaro.
Evening:
Dinner at the hut. Prepare for the summit attempt the following day.
Summit Day - Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak and Descend to Miriakamba Hut
Midnight:
Start your summit trek to Socialist Peak (4,566m). The ascent is steep and challenging but rewarding.
Morning:
Reach the summit in time for sunrise, enjoying breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape.
Afternoon:
Descend back to Saddle Hut for lunch, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut.
Evening:
Arrive at Miriakamba Hut, enjoy dinner, and celebrate your achievement.
Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate & Departure
Morning:
After breakfast, trek back to Momella Gate. Enjoy the final views and wildlife sightings along the way.
Afternoon:
Arrive at Momella Gate for registration and a celebratory lunch. Transfer back to Arusha for your onward journey or flight home.
